Hollowave is an electronic music band influenced by trip-hop, cold wave, electronica and techno culture.
Created in 2006, Hollowave is formed by 4 members : JM Von Erach, F. Norudrev, Wilonq and Alain Crozier. Each member bring their musical influences in the purpose to sculpt the Hollowave sound mainly influenced by trip-hop, cold wave, electronica and techno culture.
Living in rurals areas between Auvergne and Burgundy (France), Hollowave creates a truly urban music based on complex, melancholic and hypnotic electronic sounds. As if the frontier between the two county where the band is living constituted the central point of a musical geography area including four extremities which could be Detroit, Reykjavik, Berlin and Bristol. Therefore, Hollowave is mainly influenced by trip-hop, cold wave, electronica and techno culture.
After composing many demos, Hollowave extends its fields of competence by making some remixes for other artists (who collaborate with the band in return), by producing itself in concert, by mixing as DJ and by making its own music videos within the association Hollowave Productions.
After a break of several months, Hollowave returns in 2017 with an all-new single titled "Je me noie" composed with the female singer "Seven Pages for a hedgehog".
