Biography:

British/American/Belgian band playing acoustic-based, lyrical songs written by guitarist/songwriter Nick Jury, and gorgeously vocalised by the very lovely Megan Quill (a.k.a. The Purple Emperor).

Press:

“Very accessible and radio-friendly songs, a relaxed atmosphere, virtuoso guitar playing, heavenly vocals are but some of the catchwords that I wrote down during the first listen. We can only hope that our national radio stations pick up songs of the calibre of Amazing, Jesse James, or the outright brilliant folkpop trio Precious, Moon Song and In The Wind, to introduce them to a larger audience. (…) Go check them out!”
Bernard Vanhoegaerden - Beale Street

“Singer Megan Quill possesses a gorgeous, lovely and soothing voice which suits perfectly the 11 songs Nick Jury wrote for Rosa Luxe*. We genuinely hope this band gets enough opportunities to display their talent playing many live shows here, and are allowed to excel in our neighbouring countries. Something this beautiful needs above all to be cherished, and Rosa Luxe* is beautiful.”
Freddy Celis - Rootstime

“Rosa Luxe*'s main trump card are the strong melodies and excellent lyrics of the compositions by Nick Jury, who is an impressive guitar player, and the mercurial voice of Megan Quill.”
Bernard Vanhoegaerden - Beale Street

“The majority of the songs on the Rosa Luxe* debut album can be categorised as "acoustic pop" and are rooted in traditional folk music. The simple yet beautiful melodies get stuck in your head from the very first listen. We particularly enjoyed Amazing, Jesse James and Bittersweet, as well as the very strong vocal performance on Precious. Furthermore we were also impressed by Moon Song which is carried by delicate percussion, and by the intimate love song Wish You Were Here.”
