" Eastern Kentucky country artist Larry Pancake has dropped another rock-solid release, "Fair Weather Friend," with his all-star band and on Gary Kesling's 9 Lives Records. The release of the CD was celebrated at a packed event at SkyTower in downtown Ashland. Pancake's been making his rounds appearing on The Dawg this week and playing Ironton's Feel Good Concert Series on Tuesday. Pancake's single, "You Won't Make it Back," a song about addiction has been getting a ton of plays online, and you can go online at http://www.reverbnation.com/larrypancake to hear other great cuts like my favorite, "Bluegrass State of Mind."
