Green Mountain Grass, started as a porch picking band circa 2000 A.D. around the flatlands of Champaign-Urbana, Illinois. Transplanted to Austin in 2005, GMG has since evolved into a progressive and groove oriented string band ensemble that has gained quite a reputation and following among fans and music lovers alike. Members include Dave Wilmoth on mandolin, Jesse Dalton on bass, and Trevor Smith on banjo. Other rotational members include Adam Moss on fiddle, Dennis Ludiker on fiddle and guitar, and Tony Kamel on guitar. GMG has played Kerrville Folk Festival, Oregon Country Fair, Northeast Kingdom Music Festival, Old Settler's Music Festival, Telluride Bluegrass Festival, Shwagstock, Summercamp to name a few.
