Biography:

Called an “Austin Musical Icon” by the Austin City Limits music festival book (2002-2006), Natalie Zoe has enjoyed a wildly diverse musical career. The Austin singer/songwriter has 5 origianl recordings to her credit, not including her back-up singing work. Her newest release “The High Road”, on VMG Records, was produced by AJ Vallejo of the award-winning band “Vallejo”. Austin Music & Entertainment calls “The High Road” “…a welcome addition to Natalie’s pleasurable showcase of considerable talent. Her airy, beautiful voice, crack sidemen, & intrepid songwriting skills make for one of the most consistently entertaining singer-songwriters Austin has. ‘The High Road’ retains Zoe’s spark. The songs dig deep & find Natalie at her soulful best.”

Miss Zoe has had the honor of singing back up and/or opening for such stellar talents as Don Henley, Malford Milligan, Ruthie Foster, Bonnie Raitt, Carolyn Wonderland, the venerable Muddy Waters, Warren Zevon, and on & on. Full list at www.nataliezoe.com

Press:

“For Natalie Zoe, The High Road isn't merely another CD, but rather a promise she made to herself and didn't know it. Such is this "career" album, with production by AJ Vallejo, which brims with the confidence only time brings ("Put the Posse on It," "It's Too Hot"). Zoe hits the Road with a brash, unfettered look at the three L's: life, love, and loss, minus any middle-age self-pity or curlicue endings.”
Margaret Moser - The Austin Chronicle

“Natalie looks fabulous at 60, as you can see in “The High Road” video. And you should hear the new disc, a life’s map of her journeys as produced by A.J.Vallejo and featuring mostly Zoe's guitar playing. Songs such as “Wanted Man” are clearly the voice of experience, but isn’t that why you’re listening to someone like Natalie Zoe?”
Margaret Moser - Austin Chronicle

“Natalie Zoe makes fun music. Her airy, beautiful voice, crack sideman and intrepid songwriting skills make for one of the most consistently entertaining singer-songwriters Austin has working at the moment. The High Road retains Zoe’s spark. The songs dig deep and find Natalie at her soulful best.”
Austin Music + Entertainment

“Natalie Zoe's Seven Chords and the Truth places the veteran Austin singer-songwriter where she belongs – at the forefront of her estimable genre. Her easy, alluring vocals on "Nocturnal Reverie" and the bittersweet sentiment of "Winter" are testament to the maturation of her craft over three decades, much as her tenure singing with Malford Milligan imbues a soulful Seventies edge to "Do Me Like That," "Judge & Jury," and "Every Teardrop".”
