Biography:

The journey of Melbourne four-piece rock act Jericco has been a sometimes painful but often triumphant one. From the release of their popular two early EP’s, a live album and debut studio release, through to their sophomore long player in early 2015 their story has been all about rising above adversity. They have produced highly original, refined rock music with subtle but strong Middle-Eastern flourishes and a live show that exhilarates audiences with its energy.

The four seasoned, hungry & highly respected players in Jericco have honed their individual crafts to an absolute tee and each contribute their own mastery to an even more impressive compilation of their talent. Together they create a sound of immense and dynamic power that stands out from the heavily populated Australian rock crowd and a live show that simply must be experienced in the flesh.

Their illustrious career has seen the band touring relentlessly and sharing the stage with such highly respected luminaries as Karnivool, Dead Letter Circus and The Getaway Plan in some of the most prestigious venues across the nation. After a successful Pozible campaign that raised over $10,500 they released their latest album. The exceedingly well received Machine Made the Animal, debuted at #3 iTunes rock charts, #46 on the iTunes mainstream and #12 on the Australian Independent Record Labels Association charts. MMTA received rave reviews from many publications including Rolling Stone, Blunt and Heavy Magazine.

The cherry on the top of the album release & tour will be Jericco showcasing at the prestigious BIGSOUND 2015 in Brisbane this September. The headlining tour for the album saw the band playing to the biggest audiences they have
ever achieved and selling out a number of venues they performed at.
