Artist Bio

Rusty’s guitar playing is the result of more than 35 years of human study displayed on a canvas of music. From early experience at age 17 his music took shape in the traditional path of High school "battle of the bands" to college bars. Improvisation and technical expertise are the hallmark of his guitar playing. These days Rusty expresses his life experiences through his original songs as well as with his unique interpretation of traditional & cover songs. He is part of the guitar and flute duo: Rusty and Jan and their partnership has lasted for over 10 years. He is also part of the vocal group, First Names Only with Jan Alba and Tom Harwell. He recently started playing banjo with the Pennsport String Band.

With an extensive background in harmony singing, Rusty is available for supportive vocals in recording and performances.
