Many claim they are going to be the future of rap but none have had the lyrical support to that claim like does L.B. Growing up in the [D]MV area was a struggle but LB at one time saw his passion for football as his only way out, that was until he realized he could use music as a way out. At the age of 7 Lil Black, commonly referred to as LB, began writing songs. At the age of 14 LB along side his cousin Chamarco he began recording songs they had written. He and his cousin Chamarco began collaborating more often on songs realizing how potent the words in their lyrics were. Together LB and Chamarco created a small buzz around their names. Freshman year of High School LB met a fellow rapper by the name of Marky P. who he would free style battle often. LB had some wins and some loses to Marky P. but no matter what the outcome it just pushed him to become a better rapper. Over the time the relationship the two formed helped them make a mixtape called “The Foundation”. As soon as The Foundation was released LB decided to drop a solo mixtape called “The Prodigy”. The Release of the Prodigy helped further establish LB as an invincible force. LB decided it was once again time for him to join forces with Chamarco and Marky P They formed a group called Coast 2 Coast with vocals provided by a local songstress India. The group’s first Single garnered major attention getting several plays on local DMV radio station, 93.9 WKYS. While still apart of Coast 2 Coast LB has decided to after 4 years of successful collaborations LB is focused on his solo career.
