Biography:

Born in Cresco, Iowa in the 70's brought up on a small farm in Elma and grew up the small town life. Worked in a factory and played music since I was in high school. Started on the saxophone and learned to play piano, drums, bass, and did my own recordings since 1990. Some of my early bands were Anesthesia, Teacher's Pet, Scratch, Catch 22, Six Shooter, Ginger Pop, 2nd Hand, and currently The Bar Flyz. Some of my songs I always considered breakup or hookup songs. But most are just from an overactive imagination. But my songs are real and they're my own. I'm inspired by anything that sounds good. That's why I'm country, rock, acoustic, pop, and whatever sounds good to me. I just let the song take its course and let it be what plays out in my head. I play music every weekend mostly by myself, but The Bar Flyz is my band I play with as well since 2002.
From small town bars to the annual Mitchapalooza event on The Mississippi River & Rock the Boat, Boat Float both in Prairie du Chien. Getting to play on a house boat for about 400-500 other boats full of people. Living in Waverly now, I continue to line up shows for The Bar Flyz and my own acoustic shows all across Northeast Iowa & Wisconsin. I uses WRK guitars built by Bar Flyz bass player Ryon Kilcher and Marshall amplification. Nights off, sometimes can find me "crashing" some random bar with friends & just bellying up to the bar & play requests for any of the locals that want! Many fans say that's their favorite.
