Biography:

Being born in the West Texas town of Fort Stockton and growing up in other corners of the state like Lufkin, Clarendon, Pampa, and Beeville helped mold a love for country music and the performance of such into this native Texan. He grew up singing to 8-tracks of Elvis, Charlie Pride, and Ronnie Milsap and later began performing cover tunes by Keith Whitley and Garth Brooks in his high school band. That led to a spot in the Country Caravan at South Plains College in Levelland, TX and later a tryout at Fiesta Texas in San Antonio which would have awarded him a spot singing the yodelin’ sound of Hank Williams if it were not for his entry into the Marine Corps. Sounds like the movie That Thing You Do when the drummer quits the band to go fight in some war. He loves this country and he was at least able to continue performing while stationed in San Fransico as the lead vocalist in a band called the California Express. Anyway, college, marriage, kids and an IT job in Tennessee later he has re-emerged with not only the love of performing this great genre of music, but the love of creating it as well. Cary’s experience in the recording process and the IT industry has given him the ability to self-produce, record, and mix this gem of a single called “Love is on the Line”.
