Shillelagh Law is an acoustic Pan-Celtic stable-band, founded in 1997, and based in Missouri. “Pan-Celtic” means we cover a range of Celtic musical traditions instead of just Irish or Scottish. The music of any country where a Celts once ruled, or rebelled, is fair game. “Stable-band” is due to the fact that most of our music predates the term “Garage.” Unlike many “girl” groups, Shillelagh Law does not limit our repertoire to “pretty” songs. We sing a gamut of music that covers everything from drinking songs to war songs, and, love songs to hymns. The group consists primarily of Kristin Hacker-Hickman (singer, percussion), Karin Hacker (bodhran, spoons, sickle, other odd instruments, singer), and Sarah Hacker (whistles, flutes, percussion, singer). Amongst us we have over 150 years of performing experience.
