Old Dog-New Trick. When I graduated from college and married, I put the guitar down for 20 years. Work, children, stuff. After a new friend encouraged me, I began to play guitar again and I also started writing music again. My first "after music sabbatical" song was written after the tragedy of September 11th, 2001. My song Dust was my catharsis. After that start, the flood gates began to open and more songs came. In 2009, I realized that if I "checked out" tomorrow, my family would not have recordings of my songs. Thus began a recording project in winter of 2010. What started as simply an archival recording project, turned into a fully produced album - with the help of the very talented Jason Scavone.
I am now developing a fan base and I am having a really good time playing in and around Charlotte as well as at Holden Beach, NC. Thanks for listening.
