Richelle's songs/lyrics have received recognition from American Songwriter Magazine, Mike Pinder’s Songwars, Song of the Year, UK Songwriting Competition, Billboard Songwriting Contest, and SongDoor contest, and have also been featured on IRADIO LA, Radio 365, Band Radio, Midnight Special Blues Radio, Dr. Lou and the House of Blues Hour, Women of Substance Radio, Radio Crystal Blue, Acoustic Fuel, Pongid, WomensRadio, and Skope Magazine Radio. She has received 2nd Place and four Honorable mentions in American Songwriter Magazine's Lyric Writing contest. She co-wrote a nine-song soundtrack to “Women of Potta Chitto,” a historical play set during the Civil War, and has written other historical ballads like "Angelina Grimke," "Where the Rabbits Dance" and "The Ballad of Meridian." She earned her BS in Marketing Management from Western Governors University and is currently in the MA in Writing program at the University of North Alabama.
