Zbigniew W.is a double bass player and a graduate from the Jazz Department of the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice. He cooperated with the most outstanding Polish jazz musicians, such as, just to list a few, Jan 'Ptaszyn' Wróblewski, Tomasz Stańko,...and Wojciech Karolak.
He gives lectures at the Jazz Department of the State Music School at Bednarska Street in Warsaw. He has participated in numerous jazz festivals in Poland and abroad including Jazz Jamboree, Warsaw Summer Jazz Days, Haga Jazz Festival, Red Sea Jazz Festival, Bilbao Jazz Festival and Jazz Festival Dusseldorf. He is a respectable studio recording musician taking part not only in the jazz music recordings, but also pop and film music.
