Distinctions :
The Counsel of the Arts and Letters of Quebec recognized Kate twice as a professional artist by awarding her a grant for each of the projects that she presented in 2001 and 2002.

‘’ Tunnel Ange Gardien ‘’ - 2000 – limited edition CD
Theme song written by Kate Morrison for the Association for the protection of Brompton Lake (APLB) for the inauguration of the amphibian tunnels beneath Route 220. This song was played on Radio-Canada (CBC) and was heard in a report on the TV program «La Semaine Verte» which talked about this environmental project.

Kate Morrison composed this song for the Association Accidentés Cérébraux-Vasculaires et Traumatisés Crâniens de l’Estrie (ACTE).

Kate Morrison has lent her voice for songs composed by other artists :

From 2002-2008, Kate perfected her stage performance under the direction of artistic director Mrs. Lysanne Gallant.
Kate also perfected her vocal techniques from 2005-2006 under the direction of professional voice coach and author of the book ‘’Chanter avec tout son corps’’, Mrs. Johanne Raby.

… a duet with Quebec singer Marie-Michelle Desrosiers at the benefit concert ‘’SOS Parc Orford’’ to help save one of Quebec's national parks; at the 2011 ‘’Gala du Rayonnement’’ for the University of Sherbrooke;… for the 27th annual Telethon of the Sherbrooke’s University Hospital, CHUS that was broadcast on TVA and Télé-7;… as Bob Walsh’s guest singer for Sherbrooke’s Lac des Nations celebration;

...at the ''Women In Blues'' concert at the Winterlude Snow Bowl in Ottawa 2005; ... as a guest singer with blues artist Bob Walsh at the Sherbrooke's Lac des Nations 2006 celebration; ... to help raise money for the 27th edition of the Telethon du CHUS (University Research Hospital) aired live on TVA/Télé-7 (2006); ... in a duet with Garou at a special event with the Sherbrooke Symphony Orchestra; ...as an opening artist for Corey Hart, as well as for Quebec artists such as Laurence Jalbert and Dan Bigras, Johanne Blouin and Marie Philippe;... to support several causes : Children's Wish Foundation, Caritas, Leucan, The Women's World March and a benefit for the homeless ...and even sang the national anthems at the Olympic Stadium in Montreal in front of 40,000 people.
