Determined to turn any show into a groovetastic dance party, San Francisco's One Way Station weaves roots rock, psychedelia, country folk and disco beats into a seamless live music experience conjuring expansive sounds with influences from the Grateful Dead, Dire Straits and Bob Dylan, all while forging its own unique musical path.
One Way Station's EP was recorded at Different Fur Studios in San Francisco January 13-28 2011.

One Way Station is taking their style of roots rock, psychedelia, country folk and disco beats to fans outside the bay area - premiering in Oregon for a limited 2 date engagement, starting on December 7th in Portland Oregon opening for Melvin Seals and Dead Ahead, a semi-private engagement with limited ticketing to the public, then heading to Bend’s own Silver Moon Brewery on December 8th to host a night of original face melt music with special guests including Gabe Johnson (Eric Tollefson Band, Jive Talkin’ Robots) and more.

“Soda Pop Junkies are now One Way Station and they’re ready to take their audiences on a musical journey of rock, blues and funk. Jump on the train… you’ll be surprised where you end up!
Soda Pop Junkies hit the San Francisco music scene as a power trio boasting smooth groovy tunes fronted by luscious female vocals. The group (Jackson Haddad, John Dering, Nic Vatalaro and Jennica Smith) took the emergence of the Indie scene to heart and began aggressively booking local dates at a variety of venues in the Bay Area, bringing fans to their knees and setting a place for themselves at the table of San Francisco’s legendary music community.
When Troy Blanchard, pianist, joined the lineup the sound blossomed into the funky blues-rock style for which they are now known. This in turn, led to several opportunities with bigger named clubs, the largest festival in Berkeley, and national touring acts such as Tauk, Atomic Tom, and Acorn Project with attendances ranging from 50 to 300.
