Tim Harrison
Tim has worked as an artist and organizer in the folk music field for nearly forty years.
He was founding artistic director of Summerfolk in 1976 and he recorded his first solo album in 1978, produced by Stan Rogers and engineered by Daniel Lanois.
Tim has been artistic director of Mariposa, Northwinds, and the Eaglewood Folk Festivals. He has recorded nine albums of his own material on his record company Second Avenue Records. In 1999 he toured in Great Britain and since then has toured regularly in the U.S. and Canada. The Boston Globe calls Tim “Canada’s cinematic songwriter.”
