Biography:

Alice Amu loves music and has been singing since four years old. She was determined to be a singer-songwriter when she was seven. She has won many Singing Contests in Hong Kong and Australia since Grade 2. English and American Pop Music influenced her in her childhood when her brother turned her onto this music. Alice started to learn Folk Songs and Jazz at twelve, and began her own Musical Creation in Grade 8.  She created, performed, and directed a School Musical when she was 13; then went to Australia to study.  She performed Broadway Musicals and Operas in Australia and also learnt classical singing.  Miss Jessica Lam and Mr. Albert Lee enlightened her through pop singing investigation, singing coaching and music creation.

Alice works hard for her dreams in music and is constantly learning more about music everyday. She loves the fusion of different styles of music and improvisation. Her interests include singing, live music, song writing, drawing, reading and writing, playing drums etc. She is also interested in New and Creative things. Alice also was a DJ on Radio 4EB in Australia working on Programme Co-ordination, Production, Script Writing etc. She also graduated the DJ Training Course of Commercial Radio of Hong Kong.

Her favorite singers are Aretha Franklin, Queen, Paolo Nutini, Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera, The Cranberries, Imogen Heap and more.

Alice’s first named concert “Alice Amu More Live Concert” at Queen Elizabeth Stadium Arena in Hong Kong was held in Oct 2009. Her composition in her EP includes “Molting”, “MJ”, and “10000 futures”, “Don’t Disturb”.  She is the promotional artist in Hong Kong for Mix-Style, a Headphone Brand in Japan.   And she is also the composer and singer of a theme song called “Fiesta Moment” for FIESTA, a European and USA well known jewelry brand.
