Primarily a cover band, whatever the song and whatever the genre, the Monks showcase their ability to not only play whatever pops into their heads, but to give it their signature, crowd-pleasing twists. What comes out of the speakers might be warm-and-folksy, grungy, mellow, or mosh-pit-inspiring, but whatever it is, listeners can't help but be intrigued.
