Press:

“Known globally for his unique abilities with the electric guitar and outlandish performance tactics, Sergio has only been increasing his output in recent years. His newest double album release, Tropical Depression, showcases 19 shorter, yet concise hard rock hits.”
Respect My Region - Respect My Region

“With Eddie Van Halen now gone, the question is who has the ability to carry the torch he helped lit for guitar players? He was a talent unlike no other and he will be sorely missed. I do not know if anyone can take his place, but I am sure there will be some who can come close. Players like Sergio Michel.”
B-Mac - Uncivil Revolt

"Children of the Sea and Neon Knights. This is how you deliver cover tunes. Sergio Michel, Mike Tirelli, Becky Baldwin, and Nick Mason performed the hell out of these two Dio-era Black Sabbath classics. Wherever Ronnie James Dio is, he was listening with a smile to Tirelli’s fantastic, spot on vocal performance."
Jack Manga - Metal Hall of Fame c/o Metal Asylum

“Next up was Sergio Michel which, admittedly was something very unique in the world of heavy music for us at ConcertHopper. Stepping to the microphone was Sergio Michel himself, the namesake of the group, a wine-colored flying V styled guitar slung over his should. {cont}.... about to unleash an insanely skillful performance upon the unsuspecting onlookers. {cont}.... obviously incredibly skilled and technically proficient {cont}.... and all of this led to a very technical performance that could certainly be comparable to Steve Vai or Joe Satriani but for those who have a desire for a much heavier sound while still remaining technical.”
Concert Hopper - Concert Hopper

"Sergio is like, a mix between Steve Vai & Kane Roberts!"
Jesse Camp (MTV VJ/Singer)

“From his hit single "Hey Eyes" to his highly anticipated new album "Tropical Depression" it's an understatement to say I was excited to interview this living legend.”
Headbanger Heaven

"Creepy, weird & twisted! [The Desert At Night]".
Jeff Waters - Annihilator

(Alcatrazz/New England) - Bassist

"[Sergio] You obviously can play. [Sorrowful Psalms:Uplifting 'Depressing' Music] The acoustic sounds great, recorded well, and intune all the time. Your rhythm is solid. You have a really nice voice and can play well."
George Marinelli - Guitarist For Bonnie Raitt

"I strongly admire you as a musician who is not afraid to reveal your honest thoughts about politics, religion and the music/entertainment industry in general. So many music industry people are petrified to reveal their true views for fear of being rejected."
Lisa Walker - Executive Assistant with Joe Lynn Turner, Rock and Pop Masters, Over The Rainbow

"There are some lovely and melancholy moments on Sorrowful Psalms with Michel's ability to convey both light and darkness all through the course of every song."
Jeff Noller - SFL Music Magazine

“Though he spends most days helping others find their way to their dreams, he hasn’t forgotten his own.”
Lana Rose Diaz, Staff Writer - West New York Reporter
