"We had a great time last night. Thanks to the Puddletown Ramblers for a great show. The best thing about them was that they weren’t slick, just great songs delivered straight up. Lots of bad jokes, and I’m a great fan of bad jokes. I love a joke that makes me groan, even before the punch line. I liked everything about it.”
Clyde Clevenger - Audience Member
““Terrific show last night. Wonderful vocals and fine, fine pickin'. You are a fine bunch of gentlemen.””

"When those guys are on top of their game they play bluegrass that I find very satisfying. Last night it was sometimes downright inspiring. The Puddles are a dandy live band, they have an authentic sound that is pretty unique around here. I close my eyes at their concerts and try to listen objectively. What I hear is really good traditional bluegrass and old-style acoustic country music that often gives me goosebumps. Whether intentional or not, Puddletown is tapping into that beautiful older aesthetic. They don't come across as self-concsious revivalists, but play and sing the old way in a pleasing, unaffected natural style. I likes it!”
Bill Martin - Radio DJ, world renowned square dance caller and old-time music expert
"We had the pleasure of watching the Puddletown Ramblers perform in Stayton last night. They did a great job of performing their classics from their repertoire. Nothing pretentious with these guys. Loved their stage patter and I think they covered every key on their instruments. Thank you for being there and adding a great night of music and entertainment to our little community.”
