Uptown Hero is a pop/rock band from Highland Park, CA, in the vein of McFly, The Jonas Brothers and Blink 182. With Bernie Garcia (22) on vocals and rhythm guitars and Matt Flores (22) on lead and rhythm guitars, together they write power pop songs that are catchy and energetic. Their influences vary from Led Zeppelin to New Kids On The Block, Michael Jackson to Stevie Ray Vaughn resulting in strong pop melodies with an edgy musical drive.
