Camshaft is a rock band from Newark, Ohio.They have just launched a web site and released an EP "Shine Outlaw".This year Camshaft has played with such diverse acts as The Kentucky Headhunters and Bobaflex.
The Camshaft sound harkens back to"classic" rock,but infused with an energy, with it's own attitude. Their M.O. is an interwoven balance of guitar driven riffs and thunderous rythm which seem to sometimes be unified in result.
