Biography:

Ruby Rudman, born in Chicago, moved to San Francisco playing guitar and singing at the Coffee Gallery on Grant Street, then to San Jose. Joined first band HEATWAVE, on the road for several years. Traveled all over US,Alaska, Europe and Canada playing keyboards, guitar and singing lead in Reno show bands, Top 40 lounge acts, as a solo, duo, trio all the way up to 18-piece big bands. Home base Monterey Bay California. More recent groups include the Robin Anderson Big Band, Barbies in Jail (funk/R&B), Ruby Swings, The Hot Tamales, Ruby & Bob Show, Galaxy of Swing, Cabrillo Big Band, Clicktrax Big Band, and the Monterey Peninsula Big Band, guest artist with Barrett Deems Big Band (Chicago). Opening act for Lee Rittenour, Stephen Stills, Monterey Jazz Festival, Monterey Blues Festival, Santa Cruz Spring Festival, Kuumbwa Jazz Center, Cocoanut Grove, Spanish Bay, and all over the bay area.
