“MUSKITO 8/10 UNCUT (UK MAGAZINE) The Beards and Julien Poulson, third album, Muskito cooking up a weird soundtrack inspired by the music of Spaghetti Western Music. They've certainly succeeded. Muskito is every but as far-out as you'd expect given the description, a wiki-wiki wild wild western hybrid mashup of cinematic scale and tinged in sepiatone and spychedelics.”

“• “God bless The Beards madness…. They’re two but they seem to be a little orchestra, Emanuele Marchiori sings with a tender and soulful voice playing at the same time drums, piano and sometimes harp too, Max Magro plays guitars and sings effortlessly as Howling Wolf…. Their next album will be produced by the Professor Louie who has recorded and performed with The Band. And it will be a bomb!” Giulio Brusati, Arena di Verona, 2010 (Italy)”

““An Italian band singing in English about old Venetian farmers in Americana style sound like a recipe for cross-cultural disaster, but, in fact, it works rather well and is an interesting rather than an essential listen for fans of the post-country but still rural genre.” Jayson Blair, UK ROCK MAGAZINE , 2009 (United Kingdom)”
