If you enjoy smooth jazz in the San Diego area, chances are good that you have had a chance to hear keyboardist/Pianist Burt Brion live in concert or in your CD player.Rising from the struggles of battling a long term auto immune disorder that cost him his eyesight for 2 years and hair permanaently, Burt’s Debut CD- Say the Word made a big splash on the national charts and in turn sold copies across the nation and around the world. In a 3 year span, Burt’s profile has increased significantly in San Diego with Burt making regular appearances at prominent smooth jazz venues such as - Humphrey’s by the Bay, Harrah’s , and San Diego’s newest premier food and music venue – Anthology. Thanks to KIFM 98.1, Burt has been a regular performer for the past 4 years for Promotion events and of course the annual Gaslamp Festival on Memorial Day weekend. Burt has also had the privilege of playing with and opening for smooth jazz artists- Oli Silk, Warren Hill, Jessy J, Nick Colioune, Kyle Wolverton and Blake Aaron.
Currently Burt is in the beginning stages of recording his upcoming CD entitled- “The Secret’s out” as well as performing at various venues around Southern California. Whether it be a contemporary jazz performance, top 40 dance-wedding party, background music dinner party or congregation, Burt tailors his high energy contemporary sound to meet the needs of each client and venue.
