Eleanore Altman is a singer-songwriter, pianist, and composer from Montreal, Canada. She has released three studio albums: Degrees of Freedom (2009), Biologic (2012) and Tourmaline (2016) with producer and guitarist Aaron Saloman. She completed her first contemporary opera, The Woman Who Lived In a Vinegar Bottle, in 2015. She has also written a score for the play Mother Courage and her Children (2008), as well as chamber works for violin and for piano trio. Eleanore currently lives in Ottawa, Ontario, and works in the mental health field in addition to composing music.
