With an array of instruments including mandolin, harmonica and guitar as well as the beautiful sounding combination of Cosmic Tone tuned drum (Handmade by James) and Woodskin Cajun, this a unique performance not to be missed.
IMIJRI have a wealth of musical experience to draw from. As a solo artist, James has performed and busked his way around the country. With his unique ability to capture your attention, he promotes awareness towards humanity’s place within the circle of life.
Michelle’s musical background includes many years as a solo performer and as a member of several different bands, and touring Scotland and Ireland with her Celtic duo Maher Nighean.
Michelle and James have been performing together since 2008. You can hear a taste of this duo's beautifully crafted sound on their EP ‘Intimate Universal Encounter’, which was recorded under their previous name of 'The Wandering Minstrels'. A recent highlight for the duo was performing on the Indian Pacific Railway between WA and SA. A full length album is currently being recorded for release in 2016.
