“Apr 30 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The handwritten copy of the lyrics to John Lennon’s “A Day In The Life”, penned by the man himself, are expected to fetch anywhere from $500,000 to $700,000 at least when the paper goes up for auction this summer. The lyrics, written on both sides by Lennon, and corrected or amended in red ink will be sold at auction by Sotheby’s in New York on June 18th. They are being sold by an unidentified American collector who purchased the lyrics at Sotheby’s in 1992 for 93,000 dollars. The seller plans to use the profits to buy a vineyard.”
