AraPacis (pronounced Ara-Patches) is a female-fronted metal band based in Montreal, Canada; Formed in 2003 by guitarist Jerry Fielden; Fronted by powerhouse Scots vocalist Michelle Macpherson; Driven by the crushingly heavy keyboards of Gillan Macpherson-Briggs, the 14-year-old protégé of ex-Rainbow member David Stone and the son of Jerry and Michelle; Their mission is to fuse the raw power of 1970s Hard Rock and Progressive Rock with modern Prog Metal, Doom Metal, and Metalcore to create a unique hybrid sound.
AraPacis has shared the stage with iconic acts such as Blaze Bayley; Uli Jon Roth; Anvil; Raven; The Agonist; Doro; They've released 10 full-length albums and 3 EPs; their eleventh album, "Alignment of Sins", is currently in production and its first single "Wrath of Can't" was released in January 2026 on Bullseye Records of Canada, Inc.
