Biography:

Sandshifter Music was founded by multi-award winning songwriter, Gail Vareilles, currently a composer for Nickelodeon's megahit "Dora The Explorer".

Gail frequently partners as a co-writer with hit show "GLEE" Music Producer (and multiple Grammy-nominated
Songwriter/Producer), Tommy Faragher. Both Gail and Tommy were recent Music Producers of a film starring Faragher and Vareilles have already enjoyed winning 20 awards for songs they wrote together. Gail has numerous professional licensing credits with many of her songs licensed to Film and TV, iPhone apps, Video Games and also numerous Artist cuts. Recent projects include writing and producing for and with Pop/Reggae star Jovi Rockwell, American Idol’s Top 7 finalist Tim Urban, and Alex Boye, the epic vocalist with an African twist who sells out arenas everywhere among others!

Recent placements include: Gossip Girls. Countdown to UFC, Alaska Wingmen, The Bad Girls Club (Oxygen Network), Nickelodeon’s Latin hit “Grachi”, and the song “Beautiful Dream” sung by Tim Urban licensed to feature film “Movie 43” released in January 2013!
