Biography:

Emerald Park are and indie-pop outfit from Malmö, Sweden. Their international break-through came with the release of their second album “For Tomorrow” 2008. The album put them on rotation on radiostations all over the world and the free-download version from 2010, released by “23 Seconds Netlabel” and “Af-Music”, has made Emerald Park the biggest Creative-Common artist in Sweden. Their songs are frequently used by videomakers and podcasts from all over the world.

In March 2012 Emerald Park releases a new album called “Absolute Zero”. The first single from that record - “Reality Bites” - was released in 2011. It immediately climbed to a second place at the Swedish iTunes Alternative Chart. The Chicago based radio station “On The Dial” wrote:
“Reality Bites is a really catchy and upbeat single. Lyrics are very singable. You’ll hear plenty of strings. I noticed a mandolin, violins, and the ever present acoustic guitar. It keeps your head bobbing and each song builds slowly, marching forward. I was smiling within 20 seconds.”

Outside The Dial

“For Tomorrow is a well-crafted album that doesn’t break any new ground. But Emerald Park consistently show a knack for getting the most out of simple ideas and pop song structures, and their hard work pays off with a strong collection of good tunes.”
Popmatters

“Still, they’re quite an insider’s tip here, but I doubt it will stay this way. A recommended release!”
Reflections of Darkness

“Wer so ausgiebig die Popgeschichte abfrühstückt, braucht sich nicht wundern wenn er mit Referenzbands zugeschüttet wird. "For Tomorrow" ist aber letztendlich zu gut geworden um dieser sympathischen Band einen Strick aus ihrer fehlenden Eigenständigkeit zu drehen. Schlussurteil: Emerald Park = Malmö's finest”
Bizarre Radio

“This new album full of 12 new songs should open up a whole new audience to this band immensely. Give this album a shot as its easy listening will capture you with the first of many listens.”
melodic.net

“Vackert komponerad indiepop, där har ni en fullgod beskrivning av vad ni har att vänta er på ”For Tomorrow”.”
