Songwriter Patty Rayfield has been busy since the days when of the original Starchild band album in 1987.
Most recently Patty Rayfield released an Audiobook called Lailu after completing a degree in sound engineering and music production
Starchild started in the late eighties with three key member's singer/songwriter Patty Rayfield singer/song/writer musician/singer/songwriter Steve Du Melo and Singer/songwriter Phanes
Steve Du Melo produced their album Starchild featuring of their eight original songs, it was a groundbreaking album in many ways, as all the master tapes with all the Starchild songs on them mysteriously vanished from the studio,Until a copy was found was found a few years ago and was digitally remastered
The bands haunting melodies and memorable lyrics still make the songs remain a strong influence in the minds of those who hear them.
Patty wrote "Stars in the Sky" a song written in support of World Peace for the Global Starpeace org
Patty has appeared on international television performing her songs following winning an a national award for one of her songs "People of the World" Patty loves performing and singing to a live audience and loves meeting new people.
Currently Patty is in the midst of writing new music and songs and also wring another story!
Patty is Interested Space, the discovery of New Worlds and has written and produced "Lailu"an Audio show with a narration ,by Roger Wyatt songs by Patty, and a lush orchestral score by composer Peter Rayfield
Having completed her studies,Patty has a BA Degree in Sound Engineering and Music Production BA Hons 1st
"Lady Warlock"is a Metal/folk fusion album which she co-wrote and co-produced with Leon Danger Producer /Musician,and their band "Slither" available on Itunes. She also wrote performed and recorded the live album "Fairies and Knights in Rusty Armour"available soon.
