Taradactyl can only be described as innovative both in their sound and in their onstage persona. Their music is a mixture of traditional rock instrumentation(guitars and bass) with synthesizer sounds that verge into the shoegaze or noise pop genres, but the heavy laden drum tracks with varying guitar to synth ratios makes the overall feel danceable. The robotic sound of the vocoder adds a distinctive characteristic matching them even more closely with their otherworldly persona. They have opened for national acts, My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult and Hollywood Undead.
