Jennie Walker is a Texas born pop singer living in Pasadena, California. She worked with Grammy nominated and 12-time platinum selling producer Tommy Faragher (Bee Gees, Elvis Costello, Taylor Dayne, GLEE TV Show) on her debut album "Night Flight to London" which hit the global music marketplace during October 2011. She was a top 10 winner in the British Airways Face to Face small business competition, winning trips to London and other parts of Europe to promoter her album. The album received 5 months of inflight audio play on British Airways and she was also featured in a private interview on the channel. Walker's vocals are dark, heavy and honest. She has performed in South Africa, Mozambique, Mexico, London, England, New York, Atlanta, Georgia, and Los Angeles California to name a few.
In 2018 she went back into the studio to work with Tommy Faragher on new songs. Their first song "Bad Move" is now in production.
“Walker has an impressive sound with her album, Night Flight to London. The album features a variety of instrumentals that really fill the sound that showcases Jennie Walker's true vocal talent. Walker really embraces a darker tone with her vocals but shows an honest side of herself. The contrast of beautiful instrumentals with darker, more emotional vocals provides an interesting sound for the listeners to embrace.

Chelsea Lewis - The Celebrity Cafe
““Walker’s melodies are catchy, particularly the title track, which chronicles an across-the-ocean relationship. She has a smooth, pleasant voice that goes from sweet to edgy and back again, and she makes interesting instrumental choices like backing up her vocals with lush strings.”
Laura Hankin / Amos White - The Artists Forum
““NY based Walker is a good throaty singer who has a large string-heavy vision for her extremely pop-centric material. She veers toward legit theater on “Night Flight to London” and the soft, plaintive “Simon” which echo mid-career Madonna. A rock groove propels :your Father Your Mother” which deploys liberal wah-pedal on the guitar. Each of these cuttings is deftly arranged…””
Music Connection Magazine
“It’s inspired by Jennie’s journey towards her first long player. “I walked tall, while others made light.” This isn’t the sugarfest it might look on paper. Rather, it’s a show of strength from dedicated, creative musician with a lot to say and a love of a good cello.”

“Jennie Walker, w/ producer Tommy Faragher, maintains a consistently smooth, adult groove. "Your Father Your Mother" is set to a cello and funky wah guitar, which combine surprisingly well. "Subway Glass," allows Walker to display her soulfulness. "Simon," eschews the funk orchestral approach.”
Music Connection
“Dreamy synths and the most rock ‘n’ roll cello moves since “Mr Blue Sky” lend plenty of brooding atmos to Jennie’s moody tale. Lush, elegant, catchy and packed with more drama than the Hollyoaks omnibus.”

““I would have given you all the love I had” whispers Jennie on a simple, elegant and stately Beatley composition. Crisp piano and sad strings turn this into something eminently classy. Like Gary Barlow with no Y chromosome and more charisma.”

“Wah-wah, Rhodes piano and Temptations strings concoct a heady blend of fluid funk to accommodate a vocal that leans more towards husky charisma than raw soul power. Lots of nice “nah-nah-nahs” in there too.”
