Laid-back, sultry, and soulful - words often used to describe Hollie Sue's style. She is a singer/songwriter from Yorkshire in England, and has released two of her own self-penned albums so far. Her third album, "The Island" is mostly a solo effort, and is due for release in September 2014.
Coming from a musical family, Hollie started singing at the age of 5 and hasn't stopped since. At school and college she added piano, theory, and songwriting to her skills, then went on to achieve a 2:1 degree in popular music from Huddersfield University.
In 2013 Hollie took up the ukulele and this has transformed her into an acoustic performer, easily able to do open mic nights, support slots, live radio performances and even busking.
She performs her own original material - sometimes solo, sometimes with other musicians - around Yorkshire, and also sings as part of a covers duo called The Morrells. For more information please visit www.holliesheard.co.uk.
