Dale was born and raised in the Dayton, Ohio area where he began writing songs at age 15. As a teenager, he toured Europe with the All Ohio State Fair Youth Choir. He participated in the Camp Chase Fife and Drum Corp and was cast in three movies (“Dances with Wolves”, “Gettysburg” and the “North & South” TV mini series) as a snare drummer.
In the early 90’s, Dale began working the road crews of Nashville stars such as Trisha Yearwood, Lorrie Morgan, and Ricky Skaggs. Throughout this time, he continued to refine his songwriting skills, penning many songs about life, love and loss, developing his own unique songwriting style. His debut album "Big Dreams and Empty Pockets" was completed in 2008.
