Deep within the Vermont woods, D wrote a suite of experimental pop songs on a beat up piano. D brought his songs to the attention of T, H & C who fleshed out D's songs into a rock band format. Shows in VT and NYC opening for White Rabbits, Fiery Furnaces, Dead Meadow and Casio Tone for the Painfully Alone established My Dearest Darling as an emerging band to look out for.

Nate Greenberg - The Ampeater Review
