They secured a deal with Inhouse Records and in July 2005 issued the track Circle on the Fat Free compilation album.
The line up includes vocalist Faf Kotze, drummer Morne Klein, bassist Tiens van Zyl and guitarists Louis Venter and Dutch Hensel.
They have been well received at various venues across South Africa and their fan base grows after every show. The internet has also been a great tool for choking!hazard with a growing fan base in the US, UK, Europe and Australia proving that their music appeals to the international and local market.
choking!hazard prides themselves in having a fun, energetic and entertaining stage performance which provides for a must see show.
Their debut EP titled Small Parts has been launched and it's currently for sale at their shows and online. They will be touring South Africa promoting the EP in 2009.
