When 10 year old Melanie Hebert walked into West Coast Songwriter Ric Lafontaine’s studio in 1985, she knew what she wanted to be, a songwriter and Recording Artist. Twenty years later, Melanie is back in the studio, to record her second album "In Your Bed" coming soon
Melanie has been performing Folk music from one end of Canada to the other for the last 15 years. She blames her Acadian blood for the need to regularly visit both the East and West coasts. Her debut CD "Moments to Arise", released in 2005 recorded at "Chalet Studio's", has gotten radio airplay as far away as Vancouver Island. True to her live performances, the album gives her listeners a warm, soul soothing sound. Melanie Hebert’s fan base is ever growing and fiercely loyal. Watch out for this traveling songstress. Her star is on the rise and burning bright.
