Greetings! Here you will find examples of my bass work with groups from 1994 to current. The styles range from progressive metal (The Visionary Project), rock/pop (solo CD) to hard rock (Try.Fail.Repeat), jam-rock/fusion (One Click Culture), pop-rock (Red Spring), and Hip-Hop in my current band, Gunpoets.

Bio:
Michael is a bassist in the Ithaca region of Upstate, NY. Although his roots are firmly planted in progressive rock / pop / metal, he has been involved in projects that span many styles.

Michael currently performs with the Ithaca, NY, based hip-hop group, Gunpoets. The Gunpoets seamlessly fuse hip hop with pop, rock, soul and funk to bring the world their own unique flavor with thought provoking lyrics, deft musicianship, and top-notch songwriting. In 2010, their debut album "Shoot the Stars" won several local music awards. Their 2012 sophomore album, “Come With Us”, also won several awards including Ithaca’s Album Of The Year, with the single, “Make You Happy”, winning Song Of The Year. 2014's "Gunpoets Love You: Live at the Hangar Theatre" was included in the list of top local releases. And 2016's "Bombs Away!" landed on the top local releases list.

In addition to Gunpoets, Michael is the band leader of Triple Down, a jazz & funk quintet.
