Malaria is mankind’s number one health threat infecting between 300 and 500 million people each year resulting in more than three million deaths annually. Malaria is the number one killer of children under the age of 10 worldwide exceeding all other known diseases.

We, as independent musicians feel that we can help the grassroots movement to make a difference. It is proven that just four $5.00 nets will in fact save the life of a child. The difference between our alliance with The Skeeter Beaters Foundation and Againt Malaria is that every $5.00 donated goes to the purchase and distribution of one insecticide impregnated mosquito net. All administrative and distribution costs are paid for entirely by donor companies so that your dollars put nets on beds, over heads.

Through our efforts with The Skeeter Beaters Foundation and Against Malaria, all moneys raised by Musicians For Nets will cover our first goal, which is to send nets to Guadalcanal in the Solomon Islands in December of 2008.
