Early users of electronic "toy" instruments such as the stylophone and computertune rather than conventional rock instruments, pioneers of the disassemblement both rock instrumentation and staging and of the conventional rock format by the use of one note or one chord compositions.

OMFTG were the first rock group to use the Stylophone as the main and indeed sometimes only instrument, heavily amplified and using conventional rock effects units such as echo, wah wah and fuzz boxes.
