one blue nine creates a wild admix of styles and influences from blues and folk to downtronica and club that front man TK Major calls mutant outsider roots pop. The first true one blue nine song was probably "Static No Baby," recorded in 1997 and downloaded/streamed over 10,000 times. Major is also known for his blog/podcast, A Year of Songs, which has had over one quarter million podcast downloads since it was started on the Fall Equinox, 2005.

OK... we'll admit we're a little spun out from trying to keep up with the seemingly ever-expanding list of online music distribution sites.
