Ok, so what’s with the name? Oggi pronounced [OH’-gee] means ‘today’ in Italian. Oggi Beat is the groove of the day. Grooving in the moment.
This band is the creation of Tim Honan and Greg Galbreath. They are a live producer act improvising on fresh grooves, dope beat and infections melodies. Get up and dance to it or sit back, close your eyes and groove out.

Got back from a glorious weekend at the 1st annual Baconwood Festival - what a place. Snake Plissken Quintet, Loquat, Ron Jeremy Explosion, Tornado Rider, great visuals, killer djs, super friendly folks,.... and we Oggis, all weekend, with cabins amid the redwood trees. Sigh. And the river.
