Noxa was formed in 2000 by bassist/vocalist Chris Cassani and guitarist Brett Minor. Their thrash metal style has always been distinguished by their fast rhythms, powerful vocals, and dualing-guitar-and-bass solos. The band began recording their self-titled album in 2004, though it was not officially released until 2008. Noxa went on hiatus in 2005 while Cassani and Minor have both been in several side projects. There has been recent talk of a reunion, and possibly even a new album
