"Have you seen No Pit Cherries? They're a genre bending Indie rock band with a classic rock veneer. They have bass lines torn from blues and soul. They have strong songwriting that feels like southern rock reworked for alternative radio. I hear bits of Black Keys but I also... hear bits of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Georgia Satellites, or Alabama Shakes. Their drummer Rocky is one of the best locals I've heard. These guys are very solid. I'd like to see them share a gig with Max Allen or the Twin Cats. Get out there and go to their next gig.
