Q: Would you rather be the greatest rapper of all time, or have the ability to control spiders?
A: I've given this question a disturbing amount of thought. On the one hand, I'm moderately scared of spiders, so the ability to control them has some advantages, such as keeping them far away from me. But it also appeals to my dark side, because I'd want to use those powers to make the spiders bite all the evil people in the world; notably, unscrupulous politicians and world leaders. That's just way too supervillian-y for me; I couldn't have that on my conscious. So I think I'd have to go with greatest rapper of all time. I've tried rapping, and the results are always unintentionally hilarious. As a musician/songwriter, the idea of having another way to express myself and inspire other people with that creativity is very appealing. And I'd no doubt get to meet and collaborate with a lot of rap artists (or well, pretty much any artist in the music industry) I admire, such as Macklemore, B.O.B, and Lady Sovereign. And I'd probably find a way to become B.F.F.'s with Queen Latifah, which would be awesome. Thanks so much for the fun and creative question!
