Born and raised in Birmingham, AL, Nekaybaaw has been involved with music since playing the piano at the age of 6; it was then Nekaybaaw’s love for the arts was born. Much of her childhood was spent taking piano classes, marching band and reading numerous books for gold stars from the library.
