Music has had a presence throughout my life. I began studying piano at an early age and began composing while in high school. My earliest compositions were in various styles and created as solo piano works. I continued my education in music and received a BFA degree in Piano Performance from California Institute of the Arts. Later I studied film scoring at the Pacific Northwest Film Scoring Program under the direction of Hummie Mann.
